Britain Poised For Biggest Strikes Since 1926
Source: Sky News

Britain is poised for the biggest outbreak of industrial action since the 1926 General Strike after unions served notice of ballots over pensions.

A series of coordinated walkouts from late November could close schools, ground fire engines and leave dustbins unemptied.

Unions have made a series of announcements about strike ballots at the TUC Congress in London .

Prime Minister David Cameron's official spokesman described the calls for strike ballots as "disappointing", and agreed that industrial action would be irresponsible.

1. Kind of inevitable once Cameron was elected.

4. You have to show people that you are powerful
Or they will treat you like crap.

Unions have to show that they have the power to shut down the world, or nobody will take them seriously.

Until workers in the United States unionize and start having general strikes the middle class is going to keep fading away down into the poor class. Wages and benefits are going to keep fading. They will probably even get rid of the minimum wage soon, and then enjoy your 2 dollar an hour jobs.
