A former government scientist charged with attempting to sell technology secrets to Israel has confessed to one count of espionage.

Stewart Nozette will serve a sentence of 13 years in prison after making a plea deal with prosecutors.

1. Wow, this has been a quiet case. Have heard nothing about it in the US media.
They don't want to rouse the light sleepers, I guess.

2. As if it has never happened. All praises to our corporate media. They'll tell us if we should know.
It slides right by us as if it never happened, to be learned years later while the rest of the world always has known.

4. Thnx. I didn't realize that once placed under arrest, the FBI will let a detainee "excuse
himself" to the men's room.

I can see this scene down at FBI DC HQ after they brought the suspect in.

Supervising Agent Mike: Where's the 10 grand in cash we gave him?

Agent Frank: I don't know. Thought you had it.

S.A. Mike: Don't we need that as evidence of the payoff to make the case? The USA's gonna be pissed.

Agent Frank: I dunno. Where could it be?

S.A. Mike: Go back and search the hotel, and don't come back without it.
