Ohio workers' hourly pay fell more than in any other U.S. state during last decade

CLEVELAND - Ohio workers are making less than they were a decade ago, according to Policy Matters Ohio .

The median hourly wage made by Ohio workers fell more than in any other state between 2000 and 2010, according to The State of Working Ohio, 2011 , a report by the non-profit research organization.

Ohio is one of 10 states where wages declined during the last decade. During that time period, the report stated the state lost 594,000 jobs.

Ohio's unemployment rate in July 2011 was nine-percent.
