BBC NewsA Kosovo man accused of the first deadly Islamist attack on German soil has gone on trial, charged with shooting dead two US servicemen at Frankfurt airport in March.
Prosecutors say Arid Uka, 21, was an Islamist "lone wolf" radicalised solely through the internet, not through contact with known militant groups.
They allege he wanted to kill the soldiers because they were going to join the Nato-led force in Afghanistan.
They say Mr Uka confessed at the scene.

US charges Kosovo man with murder of US soldiers in Germany.
New York - US prosecutors filed charges Wednesday against a Kosovo man being held in Germany in the killings of two US soldiers at a Frankfurt airport in March.
The complaint in federal court charged Arid Uka, 21, with murder and attempted murder after he allegedly killed two airmen and injured two others on a bus.
It alleged that Uka approached the bus used to transport soldiers outside of Frankfurt International Airport and fatally shot airman Nicholas Alden from behind. He then boarded the bus, killed driver Zachary Cuddeback and sprayed the inside of the vehicle with gunfire, it said.
Uka was apprehended by German authorities in the terminal shortly afterwards.
