U.S. Attorney General Willing To Meet With 9/11 Families Worried About Phone Hacking
Source: NY Daily News

"The attorney general has met with 9/11 family members on a number of occasions and would welcome the opportunity to meet with them to discuss any concerns," spokesman Matthew Miller said.

The FBI confirmed earlier this month that it was investigating the phone-hacking allegations after Rep. Peter King (R-L.I.) raised the issue.

Family members, through attorney Norman Siegel, asked for a sitdown with Holder to discuss the situation. Siegel also sent letters to Congressman John Conyers of the House Judiciary Committee and FBI Director Robert Mueller about the phone-hacking scandal.

"We're not accusing anyone of any wrongdoing, but if illegal hacking occurred in the U.K., we need to know if that happened here," Siegel said.

1. check with Fox News ?
Nope -check with The Mirror, here in the UK ,who made the sole claim on that subject.

There are doubts they will be able to substantiate the claim. The claim may have sold a few newspapers for them so I guess they're happy anyway.
