Huntsman getting into GOP race
Source: AP

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, a Republican who until the spring served as President Barack Obama's ambassador to China, is running for president, officials said Tuesday.

The Republican planned to formally announce his intentions June 21 at Liberty State Park in New Jersey, with the Statue of Liberty in the background, these officials familiar with Huntsman's thinking told The Associated Press. They spoke on condition of anonymity because his plans had not been announced.

Huntsman was set to suggest as much later Tuesday in an appearance in New York City, where he was slated to talk about China policy with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.

Huntsman, a little-known two-term governor from a conservative state whose moderate stances on some issues and service under the Democratic president could inflame the Republican Party's right-leaning base, enters a GOP presidential field that's taking shape by the week.

3. The media is try to paint him as moderate. HE IS NO MODERATE. He was on Bloomberg yesterday, and
it was very clear where he stood

He is for the Paul Ryan plan including Medicare and Social Security, anti-choice, and anti-labor

I guess that is what the corporate media means by "moderate"

5. you've got to be kidding me ...
the corporate media would define him as a "liberal" ... because he once worked under Obama ... forgetting that Obama named more Repugs to positions than he ever should have ...

6. Wait till
Perry jumps in. The gopers looks like clowns. Everything they are spouting is totally un-Christian, but they hold their Bible and spew lies from it.

8. Perry is probably the last big fish...
If he does run, he will be a first tier candidate immediately. It would probably end up being Perry against Romney. The only last remaining wildcard would be Palin, but I doubt she'd run if Perry was in the race.
