April 15 (Bloomberg) -- An audiotape, purported to carry the voice of Osama bin Laden, threatens revenge for Israel's killing of Hamas leader Ahmad Yassin and offers Europe ``reconciliation'' if it stays out of Muslim affairs.
The person on the tape, aired today by the Dubai-based al- Arabiya television network, said the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in the U.S. and the train bombings in Madrid that killed 191 people on March 11 of this year, ``are your just returns, and teach you that security is important to all mankind.''
The authenticity of the tape, the first claiming to carry bin Laden's voice since Qatar-based Al-Jazeera television broadcast one in January, hasn't yet been established.
