Source: BBC

The US state of Missouri has released a list of 232 people missing since a devastating tornado struck the city of Joplin on Sunday.

Officials hope many of those are will be found alive and have simply failed to contact relatives.

The tornado killed at least 125 people, injured 750 and wrecked as much as a third of the city, making it one of the most destructive in US history.

US President Barack Obama plans to visit Joplin on Sunday.

3. It doesn't sound as bad as the 1500 that they were talking about
a day or two ago, but that's certainly little comfort to the families of those 232. :(

8. First Person On Joplin's List Of The Missing Reports She's OK
"Get me off of there!" 75-year-old Sally Adams told The Associated Press earlier today when a reporter informed her that her name is the first on the list of 232 people who haven't been accounted for since a massive tornado blew through Joplin, Mo., on Sunday.

The list, which we wrote about this noon, is now posted here. The Missouri Department of Public Safety says it will be updated daily.

11. Terrible numbers
Does that mean most of the 1500 they said were missing have been located or was the 1500 an overstated estimate?

Lets pray more of the 230+ are found safe.
