Republicans Propose Cuts To Domestic Feeding Programs, International Food Aid
Source: ASSOCIATED PRESS

(05-23) 15:20 PDT WASHINGTON, (AP) --

House Republicans are targeting domestic nutrition programs and international food assistance as they try to control spending in next year's budget.

In a bill released Monday, Republicans proposed cutting $832 million — 11 percent from this year's budget for the Women, Infants and Children program, which provides food for low-income mothers and children. The 2012 budget proposal for food and farm programs also includes a decrease of almost $457 million, or 23 percent, from international food assistance.

The legislation would cut $2 billion from food stamps, or about 2 percent of the feeding program's giant $67 billion budget.

2. "as they try to control spending"

They're not trying to 'control' spending, they're just shifting it away from domestic programs and into the MIC and their other earmarks.

Very poor reporting.

Full cut on Iraq/Afghanistan/Libya missions now. They are all in violation of the War Powers Act. Completely unauthorized act of war, fully funded unnecessarily.

Shut down all overseas bases - also completely unnecessary. Recall all troops.

The funds from the defense should easily and fully fund the domestic programs that the Republicans has cut down to the bones and trying to get to the cell.

Well, it's enough. the MIC is now too large, and it needs to be sliced down to 0.0001% of the current budget, and by that I mean a fucking dollar a day should be enough.

Let them fucking hold the bake sale to buy whatever they fucking need. It's past time that the Republicans are stripped from all power, placed under arrest and sentenced to life in prison without ANY parole. No second chances. All Republicans have abused the country for 30 years, and they all need to go to prison for it.

And anyone daring to enter the right side of the spectrum need to automatically sentenced to prison for life.

That's how I fucking feel right now.

7.  The politicians keep the gullible voters
fighting among themselves while they enrich themselves and their rich pals. When will we morons wake up and realize they mean us no good.Next time one of those crooks ask for our vote let us ask some tough questions, are they ready to slash the military budget, recall our troops from foreign soil, will they fund medical coverage for all citizens that are below the poverty line, will they support education for all our citizens and the most important question will they refuse money from outside of your own state?
