More shark attacks happened in the United States last year than in any other country, according to the University of Florida’s International Shark Attack File annual report, released Tuesday.

Worldwide, shark attacks also increased, with 79 occurring in 2010, the highest since the year 2000, when sharks attacked 80 people. Shark-related fatalities for last year were also above average, with six deaths reported.

4. You don't suppose they are having to find alternate
food sources since we have killed off huge percentages of their natural food sources?

It just could not be our fault.

Sometime last year, I think, I read an article about a group of people who are shark-attack survivors, who have gotten together to work for the conservation and protection of sharks. A FEW people get it, at least.

6. You people know nothing about shark biology...
Sharks... especially Great Whites... like fat. They take seals and other fatty creatures. More bang for the buck.

They have turned to people in the US because we're sucking down more Big Macs and fries.

7. Peanut Butter Snickers
Sharks find the taste of human flesh fattened on Peanut Butter Snickers irresistible. I saw it on TV, so it must be true.
