Two Taliban Killed Laying Mine in Afghanistan

April 6 — KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (Reuters) - Two Taliban guerrillas died when a mine they were laying on a road used by U.S. forces exploded prematurely in southern Afghanistan, a local security official said on Tuesday.

In another incident on Monday night, a rocket landed near a U.S. special forces base at the former residence of fugitive Taliban leader Mullah Omar in the southern city of Kandahar, but there were no reports of casualties, an official there said.

there are two more that won't be around to kill our soldiers or "private contractors". Stupid is as stupid does, these guys obviously weren't near the top of the food chain.
I mourn any loss of life, but their goal was to kill Americans. My sorrow is greatly diminished because of their intentions.
