Another mutiny threatens Philippines
President Gloria Arroyo said in a statement there are plotters still at large, but they will be brought to justice and the situation so far is under control

The Philippine government yesterday warned of threats of another mutiny following last weekend's failed uprising by disgruntled junior officers and soldiers who had allegedly plotted to set up a 15-man junta.

"It is true that the plot is far from over, but it is being contained and will soon be completely under control," President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo said in a statement. "We are engaged in pre-emptive measures -- administratively, operationally and politically."

Arroyo said her weekend state of rebellion declaration that gives authorities power of arrest without warrants will remain in force as "a warning and caution there are enemies of the constitution who are still unaccounted for."

Arroyo came to power in a trumped up Coup of Allegations on Estrada! Arroyo the little catholic witch sits everday minutes from where children are performing sexual acts on adults and she knows it. Who's going to go to hell, politicians and church officials who let children be sold into sex slavery or politicians who support adults' rights to choose their marriage partners?

1. Defending Estrada again?
Arroyo came to power in a trumped up Coup of Allegations on Estrada!

As much as it distresses me to see Gloria Arroyo so chummy with Bush, she is nowhere near as bad/corrupt as Estrada or Ramos. Personally, I hope she milks the US for as many dollars as she can. Hate to see the majority of any money go for weapons (even as underequiped as the PR currently is). I'd much rather see aid going into economic/development projects, like we did with the fish port and airport in General Santos.

Back to Estrada. Estrada was removed from office because of charges of corruption and economic plunder. Below I've included a couple of links that summarize the charges against him.
