Five wounded in Baghdad bombing

Baghdad - A roadside bomb exploded in central Baghdad on Saturday, wounding at least five people and badly damaging a vehicle, witnesses and the United States Army said.

In the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, insurgents fired two rockets at the city hall on Saturday, killing one civilian and injuring six other people including a child, police said.

Gunfire rang out after the Baghdad blast, which was strong enough to smash windows in nearby houses.There was blood on the front seats of a four-wheel drive vehicle, similar to those used by the US military and foreign security firms.

1. Who cares?

Have you noticed how the media is only interested if a young American child is missing, not dead or wounded American soldiers or Iraqis?

Funny how the "headline news" on TV can find the time to talk about MP3 players or new shoot-em-up videogames, but they don't even have a special segment for the war anymore. I guess it's not important. Or as they would say, "Americans aren't interested in that story."

Isn't this outside the Sunni triangle? What's their excuse for this violence?

2. In Mosul today many civilians died, the civil war we knew would happen

is happening...the Pandoras box is opened, and our troops are sitting ducks in the middle of it. Stretched thin, and being sent back just after they get home. Its a clusterF*ck of maximun proportions and we knew it would happen.
We all knew it would happen.
No matter what kind of provisional govt is stuck in there, the anger is spreading against the US and Bush and Rummy and all of them created this neverending war and are planning more of them as we speak
