Japan holds PRC island activists
Edited on Sat Mar-27-04 12:49 AM by dArKeR
STRAINED RELATIONS: The territorial clash over the Senkaku/Diaoyutai islands worsened when Japan arrested seven Chinese for illegal entry

AP AND REUTERS , TOKYO
Saturday, Mar 27, 2004,Page 5

Japan tightened its cordon of boats yesterday around a set of remote islands also claimed by China, blocking any new visits by activists that would inflame the dispute, while Beijing demanded that Tokyo release seven Chinese who landed on the isles this week.

Japanese police late yesterday said they would hand the activists over to immigration authorities, Japanese media said.

Immigration officials were likely to deport the activists, government sources had said earlier.

Japan's detention on Wednesday of the activists was the first such arrests in the international dispute over the archipelago known as Diaoyu in China and Senkaku in Japan. The islands are also claimed by Taiwan.

YOU. You in the world have no idea how arrogant and violent Mainland Communist Chinese are! I'm setting the world on notice! Wait 20 years and you'll see Hilter made to look like a child's puppy!

What this story doesn't tell you is that when the KMT fascists invaded Formosa and renamed it to Taiwan, they are the ones who claim these islands, NOT the Taiwanese (Formosans)! The people who lived peacefully on Formosa DO NOT CLAIM these islands. And I bet President Chen would NOT claim these islands.

1. Japanese militarists were the great criminals of Asia in last 100 years.
Not Chinese people. China has been the victim of Japanese imperialism. Japanese racists still pay tribute to their war criminal heroes.

Japan has little basis to point its finger at anyone. It should apologize to the people of Asia, and offer further reparations for its criminal activity.

2. Wasn't the KMT run out of China by the communists?
So why are you using the KMT's actions in Taiwan to condemn the mainland Chinese?

With all due respect, dArKeR, I appreciate your efforts to educate about the situation in Taiwan but you really need to make a clearer distinction in you posts between the Chinese government and the Chinese people and all this ranting about " Mainland Chinese dogs" and "communist pigs" doesn't real add anything to the discussion. I think unless we can talk about the issues rationally, nothing will really be accomplished. All the "pig" "dog" and "Hitler" hysteria adds nothing to your cause.
