Mass. school district under fire for condom policy
Source: ap

BOSTON – Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick says he objects to a new policy in Provincetown allowing even elementary school students to receive free condoms, and to do so without telling their parents.

The Democrat told The Associated Press he called Superintendent Beth Singer on Thursday to register his complaint after media reports about the policy approved June 10 by the Cape Cod community's school board.

The governor says that he wants access "to be age appropriate" and that for young children, "parents ought to be involved."
...
Kris Mineau, president of the conservative Massachusetts Family Institute, called the policy absurd.

1. Condoms for Elementary school students... yes that does seem a bit absurd.
What really bothers me is the attempt of well meaning people to go around parents rather them getting them involved. i can understand the frustration of parents who feel Government institutions are usurping their parental rights and parental authority.

2. You Almost Wonder
At first I'd think, this is where ultra-liberalism goes bad socially. But like the obvious GOP plant in South Carolina recently, you must wonder if there was some right wing plotting behind this. How stupid can anyone be to think you can give little kids condoms without parental involvment. It would be different if it were teens in high school, but not little kids.

6. Condoms are fucking plastic;
You dumb motherfuckers. They can get them in numerous bathrooms around the country if needed. That does not include mail order, older brothers or stealing them from stores.

You stupid dumb motherfuckers. Sorry, repetitive, but it needs saying.
