Oil Rig Workers File Suit In Gulf Oil Spill Disaster
Source: Workers Independent News

Lawsuits begin to stack up as oil continues to fill the Gulf. Jesse Russell reports:

Three-workers who say they were left at sea for 10 hours after the oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico collapsed and started to burn are filing a lawsuit. The suit is against Transocean Ltd, the company that owned the oil rig that is now spewing oil into the Gulf. The workers, Bill Johnson, Joshua Kritzer, and Nick Watson, are three of 115 workers that managed to get off of the rig with their lives. Eleven workers are missing and presumed dead. This is only the most recent lawsuit filed against the company by workers or families related to the rig and likely won’t be the last. Two wrongful death suits have been filed on behalf of families who lost loved ones in the tragic accident. An estimated 50 other lawsuits have been filed by shrimpers and fishermen, tourism companies, restaurant owners, and resorts as they see their livelihoods threatened to the point of extinction by what has become the worst oil spill in U.S. history.

5. What part of THIS do you not understand:
"...The rig, owned by Transocean, Ltd., is leased and operated by BP who is the majority owner of the oil field"

I'm guessing you are a stockholder who is (understandably) angry, but people here are a little MORE upset then you could possibly be.

6. You guess wrong.
> I'm guessing you are a stockholder ...

Nope.

Your "guesses" are just as wrong as ever. Looks like you can't even
follow a straight line from A to B without cocking up.

What part of this do *you* not understand?

If they were going to get their money from BP, they would sue BP.

Yeah, nothing's ever real unless it affects Americans ...

7. Golly, I'm flattered that you follow my posts (to know I'm "wrong as ever") But
perhaps you were just being slightly ironic, which by the way, was ALL I was doing in the post that got you bothered enough to write.
I can see from your other posts that you are accomplished at cutting remarks and ridicule of the boneheadedness of most mere mortals, so I will bow out of this dance. For I am not only a mortal but also American (by accident of birth) and therefore additionally beneath your contempt. Adieu.

4. The basis of the lawsuit
Is that they were kept on lifeboats for hours?
