Homeland Security seeks "Entertainment Liason"

The Homeland Security Department has posted a job for a "liaison to the entertainment industry." The salary could be as high as $136,000, plus benefits.

The department is creating the job to make sure that dramatic portrayals of it are as accurate as possible, spokesman Dennis Murphy said Friday.

"Average Joe 2". He worked for Homeland Security and now he has experience in Hollywood.

8. Ronald Reagan---- Can have old job back
From what I understand he is presently suited and available for the job. Although he only "shuffles", his mind is up to the task.

Tommy, babe, let's do lunch and discuss motivation.

Actually I think that kid who starred in 'What About Bob' and 'Dick Tracy', Charlie something or the other, currently works for HS and would make an excellent choice. Then again he was mentored by Warren Beatty (evil liberal socialist) so that's a strike against him.

Of course a good cartoon animator doesn't come cheap.

I'd recommend Wiley Coyote or Elmer Fudd, but their credentials as security experts are a bit shakey...though I believe their track record is a bit better than that of Homeland Security.

Regardless of how harmless the article makes this sound, this gives me the

15. When departments malfunction, they need an image consultant.
It's the American way.

The school system in my county hired one several years ago, at about $100,000. Oddly enough, the school system isn't any better.
