FORT HUACHUCA - Reveille, the Army's early morning wake-up call, had a different meaning for Staff Sgt. Christopher Gross on March 20, 2003.

Like many soldiers of the 11th Signal Brigade, he would find himself part of what the military calls the spear when the United States began its attack on Iraq a year ago today.

The days of little sleep, not having a hot shower for five months and eating the pre-packaged GI meals were enough. It was nice to come home to a bunch of "honey-dos," things to do for his family, Gross said.

"We did what we train for and we did it well," he said.

a pre emptive strike on a country that did nothing to us, and we went in and murdered thousands of their civilians, hundreds of coalition soldiers, and thousands come back wounded all for nothing..
These kids are in there for nothing..nothing at all..they are cannon fodder to fill the coffers of the CEOs of Bush's special friends, to make a lot of people wealthy, and to destroy the middle east and take over the oil fields and gain lucrative contracts for their friends..
God bless the troops only by bringing them home now.
and God DAMN Bush and all of the thugs in the White House. May they all rot in hell for eternity for the crimes they have committed using our kids who die daily for those crimes.
