"Schumer’s letter says that “according to statements by TSA officials, the “proposed cuts in the air marshal program come in response to a $900 million budget hole at the agency.”

A billion dollars.....(okay, $900 million...what's the diff?).. We are in month no. 7 for the budget year; 5 months to go.

When the TSA (and DHS) wrote out their budgets, did they not know how to do it? Or do they just come up with some real high number that they need, submit it to Bush for the budget, and "hope it all works out"?

Incompetence or an awfully loose use of the govt checkbook! IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH.
