CNN Reports CIA To Investigate "Drone Leak" on NBC....

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- U.S. officials say CIA surveillance aircraft video that they think shows Osama bin Laden in 2000 was "highly classified," and that the CIA will investigate who leaked it to the media.

Gee, the folks at the White House are very busy leaking stuff to damn just about any Democrat.

CIA probably knew who gave the video to them by the time it was aired. The 'investigation' is just some paperwork to get the classified ducks and unclassified ducks in proper alignment, and produce a summary for Congress and the press. It's probably Cheney's hand at work, figuring if he's in for a penny of flesh, he's in for a pound of flesh. He's just failed to face the fact that the pound of flesh will be excised from his ass. anywhere near the quality that our modern optics/micro technology can produce. In 1960 something our satellites produced pictures that showed home plate of Dogers Stadium. At this time we really had no computer/micro technology and optics technology was terrible. Now 40 years later you think they're producing the same quality?

Someone purposely worked on these before releasing them. They weren't just stolen and released. This was calculated.

I think that is a mistake. The career people at the CIA are accustomed to being blamed and exploited for political purposes by politicians. But they do not like national security being sacrificed for political purposes.
