BAQUBA, Iraq - Two US tanks were hit by four rocket-propelled grenades overnight near the town of Baquba, 60 kilometres (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad, witnesses told AFP on Tuesday.

The US military had no comment on the attack in the region considered a hotbed of Saddam Hussein loyalists.
