Source: Seattle Times

A SWAT team and police negotiators have surrounded a home in Seattle's Leschi neighborhood where the man sought for questioning in the Lakewood police shooting may be hiding.

Police responded to the home at East Yesler Way and 32nd Avenue South around 8:44 p.m. A woman who was leaving the home. was stopped by officers and told them Maurice Clemmons was on the property and bleeding, according to a law enforcement source.

The woman told police that someone had dropped Clemmons off at the home.

The source also said police had received tips about two other properties they needed to search, in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood and in Renton.

7. Please stop exploiting our community tragedy

And please encourage others not to do so.

Agree with truthisfreedom, but after this comment, the rapid spiral down into cheap comments is very discouraging. We have lost colleagues, neighbors, friends, a mother, fathers, children, siblings....

At least hold the cheap comments till we've had a chance to bury our dead!

8. I'm so sorry for your loss as a community. Some of the comments here have been appalling....
A few years ago some lunatic went into our postal sorting station (only a few miles from my home) and killed 7 people. It would have made it so much worse to have read some of the things I've seen here in the past 24 hours.

10. I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way.
My comments were genuine. I'm not about exploitation... I hope they caught him and got him off the street!

12. I hope they bring him in peacefully. Just remember, he is only
a person of interest at the moment. I'd really hate for an overreaction only to find out this is the wrong person.
