Plane Crashes In Everglades
POSTED: Sunday, November 8, 2009

West Broward, Fla. -- Police are investigating reports of a possible plane crash in the Everglades.

Broward Sheriff's deputies are heading out to mile marker 40 off I-75 in western Broward County.

So far there is no word on what type of plane it is or how many people were on board.

1. That's a shitty place to crash (not that a crash is ever good). Valujet went down out there
and all they found were some bits of luggage. No plane, no bodies, nothing.

I was working on the 17th floor of some building in NYC. Someone had a radio on that said a plane hit the world trade center. It was a nice clear day and I never imagined it would be anything bigger than a puddle jumper. Boy was I wrong. Hopefully this news is just a baseless rumor.

One Person Killed In Small Plane Crash In Broward
The Pilot Was Onboard The AC-100

WEST BROWARD (CBS4) ― A small plane crashed into the Florida Everglades Sunday night killing one person, according to Kathleen Bergen, spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration.

The AC-100 plane appears to have crashed into the Everglades between mile markers 40 and 41 off of Alligator Alley, Bergen said.
