Lieberman remains a filibuster threat
Source: MSNBC

From NBC's Chuck Todd and Mark Murray
Earlier this morning, we clipped an article from The Hill, which reported that Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-D) "has reached a private understanding with Majority Leader Harry Reid that he will not block a final vote on healthcare reform."

But not so fast...

Lieberman communications director Marshall Wittmann emails First Read, "If you believe this story is true, you will also believe that I am replacing A-Rod in game six of the series."

Translation: Lieberman remains a threat to filibuster the Senate health-care bill, if it contains a public option.

8. I am damn tired
of everybody playing around with healthcare reform. Where is everybody at? Lieberman is not the only one playing games. If they want to make a decision on healthcare reform i say lets start our own healthcare reform. Senate and House first. Lets figure out a way to get their healthcare rescinded asap. Because we are in a recession and America cannot afford to pay for the high cost of healthcare. They make enough money off the taxpayer in salary to buy their own healthcare why should we provide something we can't have. Mr. Lieberman should be first, followed by Harry Reid, and the rest of them. The only healthcare we should be paying for is the President and Vice President and the White House Staff.F--K the rest. If we can't have it why should they. We are forced into paying for their healthcare and their salaries. There are plenty of Americans working without healthcare. So why can't they join the ranks. And who gives a damn if they get mad the American people have now turned into the party of no on Senate and House Free Healthcare. And yes to reform on them not having any. Since they cannot come up with a solution on healthcare reform for the American people the American people have a solution for them. You low down dirty no good life stealing vipers,we see you and we hear you loud and clear. 2010 is coming and we will be voting.
