4. State Survival Bill??
A State Survival Bill? Don't be an apologist. Call things what they are. Reid and Pelosi had a chance to ensure Democratic Power for a generation and they gave us a hack partisan political giveaway that ensures we'll lose our majorities in 2 - 4 years. Friggin greed of our elected reps and their special interest pals makes them just as bad as Wall Street. They just don't get it...and neither do you. If what we see today is the apex of the stimulus bill. We lose, they win, and the Obama agenda comes to an immediate stop. Congratulations.

5. I suggest you read DU's rules

Personal attacks are prohibited.

As far as the rest of your post, you obviously haven't been following the polls and general mood of the country regarding Republicans. Lose the majorities in 2-4 years, hogwash.

6. There has been an "impact"? LOL!
I guess you could say the rising unemploymenr could be an "impact"..
As I said when this thing was proposed it was nothing more than a hog feeding for the special interests and had little to do with helping the economy. If the unemployment rate doesnt turn around soon there will be LARGE Repub gains in 2010 as this failed "stimulus" will be hung around the Dems neck by the Repubs.
