Secret Service probes Nazi flag-flyer
Source: UPI

LAS CRUCES, N.M., Sept. 16 (UPI) -- A New Mexico man known for flying a Nazi flag on his property is being investigated by the Secret Service for threats against the government, officials say.

Secret Service Special Agent and spokesman Rich Ferretti confirmed to Wednesday's Las Cruces (N.M.) Sun-News that Ken Triplett, 54, whose Nazi flag was noticed by neighbors and U.S. veterans last week, was visited by agents and his claims of military service were being investigated.

"We're still conducting a background investigation," Ferretti told the newspaper. "If we feel something's a criminal act, we present it to the U.S. Attorney. If we feel someone's a threat to our protectees, we monitor those individuals."

The Sun-News reported that neighbors alleged the roofing contractor told them "he was heavily armed and that if he had to, he would strap bombs to himself and go to Washington, D.C., to take care of the government."

1. I'm trying to think,
what would I love enough to strap a bomb to my body? Maybe a really good, buttery rice krispie treat. You know the one where you double the amount of butter in the recipe.

15. I'm not so sure..
That hate is the motivation. I tend to think that hate is the symptom, not the cause. The haters that I have known typically have all sorts of issues that they don't want to confront, so they channel their energies into one group or another that is supposedly the cause of all their problems.

22. i have a RAVING right winger working for me...
he can go ballistic when one of my liberal guys jokingly calls him "Comrade". Anyway, I think it is a perceived weakness in themselves, be it personal or education. Instead of addressing that weakness, the blame others when they get promoted over. It is never their fault, it is someone else's. It festers, turns to fear, and then to hate.

3. I hope he told a lot of his neighbors about his plan because
he sounds a wee bit like he might seek revenge
He has a felony assault on a federal officer, threatened to suicide-bomb a U.S. Border Partrol checkpoint...
well maybe he doesn't read the paper.
Suicide-bombing would be a bad trend to start here

4. But of course this isn't about Racism.
The guy just likes the colors in the NAZI flag.

Just ask any corporate media whore, they'll tell you hating the government and using NAZI imagery has nothing to do with Racism.

14. They can investigate all the Hitler Jr's and Himmler Jr's and Goebbels Jr's they want.
They won't hear a word of complaint from me.

If people can't take the heat, they should stay out of the kitchen (by shutting the hell up).

17. And he lied about his military service
"...Triplett also told the agents he was a Green Beret in the Special Forces - claims denied last week by spokesmen for both U.S. Army Special Forces Command and the JFK Special Warfare Center and School in Fort Bragg, N.C...."

http://www.lcsun-news.com/ci_13346193

If he has health insurance, I'm guessing his mental health instability is a pre-existing condition and they probably wouldn't pay for treatment!

24. Well, after this sentence, I would say it is a pretty good use
