games at the golf club, Powell said, "Not here, I can
testify to that. That wasn't the Steve I knew."

SPRINGFIELD — The search for clues continued yesterday in the shootings that have left a town thirsty for details about a cinema-style mystery.

Investigating, speculating and mourning continued after the crimes on Friday left three men dead and a fourth in critical condition. No suspects have been arrested and authorities are still treating the cases separately.

The details have many locals playing armchair detective: Four acquaintances known by many in town. Four brutal daylight shootings in three hours, all in well-populated areas.

2. I live 10 minutes from Springfield TN

I heard this was a mob hit. These people where suppose to be members of a poker club that held illegal poker games and some folks from Nashville came in and killed them over disagreements over money. Don't know if this is true it's just what I heard from some people.
