Blagojevich, promoting book, denies wrongdoing

Ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is on a media blitz as his book hits the shelves.

The book gives Blagojevich's view of the scandal that led to federal charges that accuse him of - among other things - trying to sell the U.S. Senate seat once held by President Barack Obama.

He took to the airwaves for a media tour to promote the 264-page book, which is being released Tuesday.

During appearances on NBC's "Today Show" and on WLS Radio in Chicago, Blagojevich continued to deny any wrongdoing. The Democrat says the comments prosecutors have captured on wiretap tapes have been taken out of context and he'll be vindicated when the entire tapes are released.

Blagojevich is slated to continue his blitz with several other media interviews
