GE calls Fox report 'maliciously false'
Edited on Wed Aug-12-09 05:17 PM by Newsjock
Source: Associated Press

General Electric Co. called a Fox News Channel report about the company supplying terrorists with material used in bombs "irresponsible and maliciously false" on Wednesday, as a feud between Fox's Bill O'Reilly and MSNBC's Keith Olbermann kept sizzling.

It was the first time that GE, the parent company of NBC News and MSNBC, had publicly responded to accusations made by O'Reilly on his Fox show.

... GE spokesman Gary Sheffer said he was surprised by the report, given O'Reilly's admission that he could not confirm GE's involvement.

GE does not do business with Corezing, and does not produce the radio frequency modules that were described in the report, he said.

1. I think we should all call GE and complain about them, as if Bill O'Reilly is telling the truth.

The only way to get one of those douchebags off the air is to make it appear he's a threat to a large, multi-national corporation and the billionaires associated with it.

8. Which is why the suggested action is even better. Because it also put GE on the
defensive.

They are funding ways to make sure their overpriced medical equipment is over bought and under used.

11. O'Reilly is scum, end of story.
I said during the Bush administration that the republicans and their supporters are America's biggest terrorists, and i still hold this position.

17. Immelt should just buy FOX and throw the a^^holes out.
I bet he's close to doing so.

FOX has some great fanciful programs and a good infrastructure to consolidate, downsize and merge with NBC, CNBC and MSNBC. The thing would pay for itself in a couple of years - if Murdoch would only sell and leave the country.

18. Hostile takeover
Just short the hell out of News Corp stock, then buy it all before it goes belly up.
