Secret Service looking into Obama-Joker fax (“Death to All Marxists Foreign and Domestic”)

The Secret Service may investigate a fax sent to a Democratic lawmaker that depicts President Barack Obama as the Joker and warns of “death to all Marxists.”

The black-and-white fax portrays Obama in makeup similar to that worn by actor Heath Ledger in his portrayal of the Joker in last summer’s “The Dark Knight.”

On Obama’s forehead is a communist hammer-and-sickle insignia, and beneath the image is the text: “Death to All Marxists! Foreign and Domestic!”

Rep. Brian Baird (D-Wash.) received the fax and passed it along to U.S. Capitol Police.

makes me sick to my stomach. :grr: Firstly for sending such vile and stupid things. But secondly, and especially, labeling Obama a Marxist. I like Obama, but labeling him center-left would even seem to much for me. It just pisses me off so much, because these asshats have no god damn idea what Marxism actually is. Hell, they probably wouldn't even know what capitalism means if you asked them. I think they only know it as "Dat systemajiggy dat gives me all da moneys from them free markets, uh right?" :silly:

God, I hope the Secret Service finds these morons and locks them up for good, but not before forcing a basic high school level government and politics lesson down their freaking throats. With a fax, you have a documentable piece of paper that occupies the office, with your message on it.

Be as disdainful as you want; faxes may not be as effective as a hand-written letter, but they're better than emails.

urging support of single payer/public option health plans. They still use fax as a valuable tool, seems like it's more impressive to those highly intelligent dedicated public servants we have elected to represent us.
