(Rep. Roy) Blunt among (Obama) birth certificate skeptics in online interview
Source: Springfield News-Leader

The repeatedly debunked belief that Obama isn't a natural born citizen has become mainstream -- thanks in part to elected officials like U.S. Rep. Roy Blunt wading into the controversy.

Blunt, R-Springfield, is being branded a "birther" after telling a blogger on video last week that he thinks conspiracy theorists raise "legitimate" questions about why Obama won't release his medical records or original birth certificate.

"What I don't know is why the president can't produce a birth certificate. I don't know anybody else who can't produce one. I think that's a legitimate question," Blunt told a blogger for the liberal blog FireDogLake.com

...

Blunt, for his part, stands by his previous statements, a spokesman said. But he declined further comment at an energy policy event Tuesday in Strafford.

"What I actually think is that you guys don't have any capacity to talk about that in a legitimate way, so I'm going to stop talking about it," Blunt told a reporter.

14. He's not my rep, but
many of his decisions effect my life anyway. But he oughta have to bring me a copy of his REAL birth certificate if I demand one, right?

Those Blunts are both alike, and just like Ashcroft. Self righteous arrogant #&*%!*#s! Joann Emerson's my rep, which ain't much better. And of course, Pappy Blunt is hoping to be my senator, so maybe he should give me 2 copies of his REAL birth certificate (if he CAN PRODUCE one! )

:hi: Neighbor! It's been years since I was in your "neck of the woods", but I'm sure it's still as beautiful as it was then.

4. Correct me if I am wrong...
But didn't he produce a birth certificate? Hell, it's all over TV and the internet... did Bluntbrain miss it? Don't they have computers and TV in Mizzorah! Does He doubt his own countries security system? Hell, if America is that ineffective in its security, then I could run for President and they wouldn't know I was born in Canada

11. Silly, all we have seen on the internet is a PHOTOGRAPH of a
certified copy. Everybody knows that unless you produce your original "vault" copy, you haven't proved anything.

ROFLMAO.

18. Ohhh! I see..
So they want the ORIGINAL Place IN their hands... well.. there's only about 5 million or so non-believers... gee, that would take a few years to pass that around...*sigh* :eyes: I guess my brand new birth certificate is no good then, according to the birfers... and my last one, the one I gave to the INS to get my permanent residency is no good either, and I am actually in the country illegally because it ain't the one they printed out when I was born.... wow! I'm in a heap of trouble according to birfer rules. I'm glad they don't run the INS!

10. Time to demand that he produce his own ORIGINAL birth certificate.
No stinkin' "certified" copies accepted. We need to demand the "vault copy".

16. It's all they've got and it's weak, but when it's all they've got, what else can they do?
Really, it's much ado about nothing but, hey, one does what one feels one must, even when one knows it is wrong. Make no mistake, the repugs know what they are doing is evil and wrong, but they've got can't help it disease borne of dark hearted wickedness.

I think we should investigate why the repugs are called the 'right,' while we are called the 'left,' since they ain't NEVER right about anything. Besides, 'right' makes up the word righteous, yet the only righteousness the repugs exhibit is righteous, irrational rage.

These are the things that make me go, "Hmmm."
