Nepali Rebels Kill 21 Soldiers in Attack
Hundreds of Maoist guerrillas stormed a telecommunication center in eastern Nepal killing 21 soldiers in the biggest rebel attack since peace talks collapsed in August, an army officer said on Wednesday.
There was no information on rebel casualties in the late Tuesday attack in Bhojpur district, 315 miles east of Kathmandu, he said. More than 8,900 people have been killed in the communist rebels' revolt against the monarchy since 1996.

1. what a mess
The King is a regicide, or at least the Crown Prince is, not to mention his family made it's money running drugs, the parliament has been dissolved, not that it was ever capable of governing anyway, and the "Maoists" are mostly a bunch of ignorant peasants and/or petty crooks roaming the countryside shaking people down.
