Some Conservatives Want to Roll Back Tax Cuts
Here's an article from today's Washington Post that describes how some leading conservative members of Congress are seeking to roll back some of Bush's tax cuts because of deficit concerns. Remember - Congress only gave Bush one-half of the tax cuts he wanted.

1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Repukes KNOW They are going to lose
and are scrambling to be on the winning side of the issues.. Too late! The dems were here first! Only a dem. president can fix the mess we're in now because we are far more fiscally conservative where we need to be fiscally conservative.

We don't go handing out tax incentives for f*cking SUV drivers and other such foolishness!!

2. True fiscal conservatives...
... know that bush is an out-of-control spender. They can not support that type of approach to the economy. Add to that the many sincere republicans who actually love America....can they possible favor the taking jobs to other countries, or the "off shore" corporate headquarters to avoid taxes? No. Bush is a threat to most of America. We need to keep that in mind this spring, summer, and fall.

3. Don't such conservative twits know that rolling back tax cuts is raising
taxes on "the people," perhaps the number no-no of their ilk?

4. I suppose the fact that they're even considering these changes,
slight as they are, is noteworthy. Amazing what an election year will do to Congress.

5. How much you wanna bet that these "roll back" conservatives are really
going to back "rolling back" the cuts that the wealthy received? Not too likely, even though the spin has always been that these were the ones paying most of the taxes.

Once they get their votes, how much you want to bet that the cuts "rolled back" are the ones that barely benefitted the lower part of the economic ladder?

I'll believe it when I see it.
