Maxine Waters calls Aristides removal a US backed Coup

Congresswoman Maxine Waters is reporting on Democracy Now this morning that President Aristide has been kidnapped in a US backed Coup this weekend. She reported on Democracy Now this morning having spoken to President Aristide who said that he did not resign and that he was being held under an armed guard of US Marines.

Media tends to have an establishment bias - it won't cover a story unless a government official starts raising hell. Now that a Congresswoman is talking about it, this'll probably see light of day in the mainstream media.

He was on with Maxinne and Barbara Lee. They were saying that Harkin and others outside the congressional black caucus will get in on it also. They were talking about crimes being committed by the US. It was some heavy shit.
