Juan Sotomayor on Sister Sonia's Critics: 'Angry Is Just the Beginning'
Source: ABC News

Dr. Juan Sotomayor, brother of Supreme Court-nominated judge Sonia Sotomayor, broke his silence about his sister's critics, saying the "insulting" comments about her do not describe the woman he grew up with.

"Anyone who knows my sister, she has so many people who love her, adore her; so many people she's friends with; so many people that respect her," he told "Good Morning America" in an exclusive interview. "It's just insulting."

ABC News' senior national correspondent Claire Shipman sat down for an exclusive interview with Sotomayor, who is the nominee's only sibling. He talked about his relationship with his older sister, his pride in her achievement and his reaction to recent criticism of the nomination.

1. She will voted in by a wide margin.
What is going on now is just politics as usual. Soon those who are hurling insults will realize she is probably going to be the most Conservative Justice appointed by a Democrat in years and years.

We on the other hand may not be so happy. I fear for Roe V Wade. I really do.

Hope I am wrong.

were related to the Roe v. Wade issues and her decisions in those cases took the side of the pro-life proponents.

This is what I have heard from legal commentators. Needless to say, I have not reviewed all her decisions.

Oh, and Rush Limbaugh said she's probably pro-life, but I based nothing on that.

3. I highly doubt that claim
In fact, I'm willing to bet that she'll be more liberal than Souter.

4. dog and pony show
she will be confirmed easily. it's beltway bluster that means nothing. the GOP's actual actions will be similar to the token resistance the democratic senators put up to the nominations of Alito and Roberts.

who should have been resisted with one voice and with all the tools possible. because they suck.
