Mozambique arrests 'dam plotters'

Four people who were plotting to sabotage one of the largest hydro-electric dams in Africa have been arrested in Mozambique, police say.

The detained were foreigners caught with materials designed to damage the Cahora Bassa dam in north-western Mozambique, according to state media.

The suspects were from South Africa, Botswana, Germany and Portugual, police reportedly said.

Mozambique takes over Cahora Bassa Dam

afrol News / SANF, 29 November - Ownership of the Cahora Bassa dam on the Zambezi River has finally been transferred from Portuguese control to Mozambican hands at a ceremony witnessed this week by five southern African heads of state and government, but in the absence of the PM from the former colonial power. Cahora Bassa is the region's main power producer.

The ceremony, which on Tuesday took place in the village of Songo, in the central Mozambican province of Tete, was preceded by last-minute negotiations on the terms of the deal which lasted well into the early hours of same day. However, at 0600hrs the Mozambican Minister of Energy, Salvador Namburete, emerged from the Joaquim Chissano Conference Centre in Maputo where the negotiations where taking place to announce that "finally, the deal is done!"

Portugal will now hold 15 percent of the company's shares. Before the signing of the new agreement, Portugal held 82 percent of the dam, while Mozambique held the remainder. Portugal controlled the dam since colonial days.

Wilhelm Reich's discovery of orgone began with his research of a physical bio-energy basis for Sigmund Freud's theories of neurosis in humans. Wilhelm Reich concluded that the libidinal-energy that Freud discussed was the primordial-energy of life itself, connected to more than just sexuality. Orgone Accumulator
In 1940, Wilhelm Reich constructed the first device to accumulate orgone energy: a six-sided box constructed of alternating layers of organic materials (to attract the energy) and metallic materials (to radiate the energy toward the center of the box). Patients would sit inside the accumulator and absorb orgone energy through their skin and lungs.
