Election Worker Admits She's "Somewhat" Sympathetic To Coleman
By Eric Kleefeld - March 2, 2009, 1:28PM

Franken lawyer David Lillehaug today questioned Pamela Howell, the precinct election worker from Minneapolis whose testimony on potential double-counting of ballots has become the center of controversy due to the Coleman camp's prior efforts to hide evidence surrounding her. He's been spending time running her down as a partisan, pro-Coleman witness -- and she hasn't exactly been disagreeing.

Lillehaug reviewed with Howell the fact that she spoke and e-mailed numerous times with Team Coleman during the recount and this past January. On the other hand, she refused all opportunities to speak with Franken lawyers when they'd previously attempted to contact her:

Lillehaug: And that's because, fundamentally, your sympathies were with Senator Coleman, correct?

Howell: Not -- not my object.

Lillehaug: But your sympathies were with him, were they not?

Howell: Somewhat.

2. They're just dragging this out to cover the seat with as much shit as they possibly can.
Franken will be the next senator of MN.

3. Refused to speak with Franken lawyers, but in communication with Team Coleman. Oh, yeah, that's
a great indication that she puts fairness about Party.

4. I think the Franken lawyer should keep going back - who contacted whom? Was she already
in contact with them when she arranged to be a worker.

If only we could get workers from Ohio and Florida, George and New Mexicao to start talking.

5. Seems that Franken has the superior legal team
In all the news that's come out recently, Senator Elect Franken's lawyers seem to be doing a great job handling their case, whereas former senator Coleman's lawyers, despite all the right wing money poured into this, come across as somewhat incompetent.

13. I think it would be quite difficult to appear competent if there was nothing to build a case upon.
I just don't see any case at all for Coleman. He lost and won't accept it and the Republicans have lots of money to throw at him.

14. It's the case. Coleman's team still have to have the bare bone of a case. Absent.

7. Franken will take
'em apart when he's Senator. Harry R better watch out too, I think Al just might have issues with him.

8. Unfortunately this woman has some neurological disorders,

look at her eyes and her expressions. She clearly has some mental disorders ,possibly due to alcoholism as I have seen these kind of expressions before in their facial expressions and actions...The real scum is the Colemann attorneys using this incompetent woman as a tool to achieve their goals, putting this woman onthe stand after brainwashing her is both disgusting and unethical.

10.  Thank you, glad to join,
Lurker for a couple of years before making the plunge over this Colemann debacle here in Minnesota. The average folks here in MN. are really starting to dispise Colmann and his attorneys conduct.

16. Welcome neighbor.
:hi: Everyone I know is sick of Coleman's attempts to make a mockery of our excellent electoral system. It is maddening and pathetic, and now to learn unethical.
