The delegation has started talks with Oil Minister Ibrahim Bahr al-Uloum's senior advisor Abdul Saheb Qutob.
"The advisor expresses Iraq (news - web sites)'s desire to maintain cooperation with Russian companies," the official said. "That includes reconstruction of Iraq's oil installations and development of oil fields." snip
Several Russian oil companies signed potentially lucrative deals with Baghdad before the fall of Saddam's regime.
