Suicide attack rocks southeast Iran
Source: PressTV

A suicide attack has killed 2 police officers in the city of Saravan in a region where terrorist activities have been on the rise in recent months.

The bomber carrying explosives tried to enter the Saravan police department with his car but failed and was killed in the explosion.

Two police officers were killed and nearly 20 others were wounded.

The city of Saravan, located in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchistan, has become the focus of the Jundullah terrorist group. The cell, which is reportedly supported by certain Saudi officials, abducted 16 police officers at a checkpoint around the city on June 12.

2. These must be "good terrorists," or better yet, "freedom fighters."
As Israel destroys Gaza with high explosives and whines about terrorists, I think we would be better off if we simply removed "terrorist" and its variants from the discourse. Let the facts speak for themselves, enough with the terms of propaganda.

4. US-supported terrorists, according to Seymour Hersh:
"One of the most active and violent anti-regime groups in Iran today is the Jundallah which describes itself as a resistance force fighting for the rights of Sunnis in Iran. “This is a vicious Salafi organization whose followers attended the same madrassas as the Taliban and Pakistani extremists,” Nasr told me. “They are suspected of having links to Al Qaeda.” The Jundallah took responsibility for the bombing of a busload of Revolutionary Guard soldiers in February, 2007. At least eleven Guard members were killed. According to Baer and to press reports, the Jundallah is among the groups in Iran that are benefitting from U.S. support.
