Democrats claim McCain violating fundraising rules
Source: Associated Press

WASHINGTON - The Democratic Party plans to file a complaint with federal regulators
that accuses Republican John McCain's presidential campaign of various violations of
campaign finance law.

In a letter to the Federal Election Commission to be submitted Monday, the Democratic
National Committee alleges that McCain has received donations from 6,653 individuals
who exceeded the legal $2,300 limit by at least $1,000, and 23 donations in excess of
$50 from anonymous donors. The DNC citied one donor who appeared to have given
more than $56,000.

The complaint is based in part on data that the McCain campaign provides on its Web
site - an extra step of disclosure not required by election laws. The campaign of Barack
Obama, the Democratic presidential nominee, does not disclose as much information
about its donors as McCain does. Obama only reports the indentities of donors who
give $200 or more - the legal requirement.

The McCain campaign is just one hideously sloppy mess. And that is giving these
clowns the benefit of the doubt.

1. The DNC has filed several suits about McCain fundraising....they are never mentioned.
The media has ignored them.

Here is one example from July this year.

The media is letting McCain get away with some very flawed fundraising.

It's like groundhog day, over and over and over, deja vu stuff.

I have written at least 3 times about lawsuits filed by the DNC because McCain broke FEC rules, and I can not even find them now.

Groundhog day.

6. Every time the media mentions record fundraising on Obama campaign
stories like these will not get traction.....of course it doesn't help whilst MSM keeps harping on, Obama's fundraising; "180 million. blah, blah, blah...this month alone, blah, blah"......
