CNN/APCOLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Michelle Obama is telling voters it's really important to participate in this election.
In this week's Democratic Radio Address, Obama says the American dream is becoming harder for families to realize, especially in the last eight years and under the current administration.
She tells of how her father was a strong advocate for voting as a way to change the lives of people and says that is the opportunity everyone has in just nine days.
In her words: "November 4th is our chance to begin building a better future for our families, our communities, and this country that we love."
In 2004, Obama says the election was decided by just 59,000 votes in Ohio and this time "we can't wake up November 5th only to discover we fell just short and didn't elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
