Anti-Obama Fliers 'Political Porn,' Some Republicans Say
Source: WRTV

INDIANAPOLIS -- Some Republicans are coming forward against a recent mailing by the state party linking Sen. Barack Obama to William Ayres.

The flier, which was distributed this week, calls Ayres -- who was a member of the leftist radical group Weather Underground in the 1970s -- a terrorist, a radical and a friend of Obama's. It also features a 2001 quote from The New York Times from Ayres saying, "I don't regret setting the bombs. I feel we didn't do enough," directly next to a picture of Obama.

6News received several complaints about the flier, including some from registered Republicans, 6News' Derrik Thomas reported.

"We're Republican and we don't appreciate this kind of stuff and we are going to lose voters over this in my opinion," said Kevin Harold, who said he had originally supported Republican Sen. John McCain.

2. Already too late...
Larry Flynt is Hustling up an Ala-skin flick with Sarah Palin look-alike

Larry Flynt is using the power of porn to express his views on Sarah Palin.

The Hustler founder and freedom of speech advocate has produced an X-rated movie using an adult-film actress who resembles the Republican vice presidential candidate.

4. The most recent polls have Obama up by ten (more than the margin of error) in Indiana.
McCrudgeonly's campaign has just unleashed ads here (Obama's ads have been on for months). Obama's ads are hopeful in tone... McSame's use ominous music and innuendo. The contrast is stark. What is going on (per the ground sentiments) in Indiana is like nothing I have seen before. The quotes you are reading in the linked item are not atypical from what I have seen on the ground in central Indiana.

Team McCainalie has come to Indiana more than a day too late. The negative ads and robocalls (which have been going on for more than a week now) have depressed McCain support.

Obama was in the capitol and drew 21 K. Palin came to town a week later and drew 24K (McCain hasn't been here for months). Obama comes back on Thursday and draws a crowd of 35 K.

I am increasingly hopeful that Indiana goes Obama. And if Indiana goes Obama - than it will be a landslide.

6. Backfire!!!

I can't see any other reason for these poles besides McCain's own ads backfiring.

Though, we have been inundated with an Obama ad attacking McCain's health care penalty. If you ask me, he should also hit Obama on his opposition to ethanol and he'll have Indiana in the bag.

8. Slight correction...SPalin drew only 20,000 at the Verizon Center
which maxes out at 24,000.

Right before the primary in May, Obama drew 21,000 downtown...same location where 35,000 came to see him, on very short notice, last Thursday morning. The GOP VP candidate - appearing in Indiana's capitol (...beet red Indiana which continues to return the nutty GOPer gasbag Danny Burton to the US House) drew less people than Barack Obama did when he was competing with HRC for the Democratic nomination.

Not a dramatic point, but significant I think considering it's Indiana we're looking at.

5. second time today I've heard their tactics described as porn
I'm out of town for work and husband called to say the RNC sent us an absentee ballot (never been registered pukes) with anti-obama "porn" all over it.

I told him to save it until I get back; I'm taking that to the Obama HQ when I get home.

Stay Klassy, RNC. Race baiting porn stars-- family values? not so much. Glad a kid didn't see this crap -- which they could easily do, it coming in the mail like that.

7. They have to cheat; it's the only way republicans can ever win.
Coz fact is (and yes, freepers, it is fact; the republican platform is for the elite against the common.

That's why it's called "rightwing". Aka "House of Lords".

9. I got one of these
Thought it was the ugliest pieces of political propaganda I've ever seen. I added the vile thing to my collection in the "Time Capsule". This was almost the worst yet (the "DVD" being the worst... not that I watched it...it went in intact)

10. They say "Ayers" we think "Ayres"...
"Bill the Tearust" spells his last name AYERS. In Indiana, AYRES (pronounced the same as Bill's last name) is the name of a generations old, beloved Indiana department store that was gobbled up by Macy's not long ago. The name Ayers/Ayres does NOT register as a Really Scary name/word/dog-whistle in ~"Indiana...Oh,Indiana...Barack Obama...we love you HERE!~

I'm curious. Did the Indiana Republican State Party Porn spell his name correctly?
