ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Two vehicles outside the home of U.S. Rep. Russ Carnahan are spray-painted with graffiti similar to that on the homes and cars of Minnesota legislators earlier this week.
Spray paint on one car reads "Bailout for China is Treason." The other says "Psalm 2" and "traitor."
Carnahan's chief of staff, Caroline Battles, says it's not clear if the damage was done Thursday night or Friday morning. She declined additional comment while St. Louis police investigate.
In Minnesota, vandals spray-painted graffiti on the homes and garages of Sens. Norm Coleman and Amy Klobuchar and Reps. Jim Ramstad, John Kline, Keith Ellison and Michele Bachmann late Tuesday and early Wednesday.
Some of that graffiti included references to "Psalm 2" and the word "traitor."
The Bible's Psalm 2 warns "kings of the earth" against incurring God's wrath.
