1. Where were the polls in previous elections at this time?
How can we find that out?

6. the Gallup TRACKER is new...
...but Charles Franklin has a really useful mashup of all polls for the last three elections -- several days out of date now.

5. We need at least a three point cushion above the margin of error and Bradley effect
Anybody know how much that is supposed to be?

I want such a strong cushion that the repug bastards can't steal the election without worrying about riots breaking out all over the country!

10. Weird how it goes apart and converges, goes apart and converges
But this time the convergence is not equal, as it was at 46. I expect it to go apart and up again once it accounts for Phailin's idiocy at the debate.
