Teens Charged With Making Explosive Device

COLUMBIA, Tenn. - The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested three teenagers suspected in a possible bombing plot.

The teenagers, ages 13-15, had a two-liter bottle filled with chlorine and other household chemicals. They also had two guns and a dagger.

"They can cause some property damage and a lot of that depends on the amount and the chemicals that they used," said Columbia detective Mickey Jones.

Police recovered the explosive and the weapons. Later, the FBI arrested the boys.

Investigators believe the youths planned to damage a governmental building.

"There were some indications that there was one juvenile that was predominantly against certain things that government was doing," Jones said. "There were also some comments made that they may be targeting areas in Columbia to use these explosive devices that they made."

So, what they are saying is...

We can ALL be arrested and charged if any one of us is in possession of over two
liters of bleach (chlorine)and some other household chemicals and any other one
of us gives "some indications" that are "predominantly against certain things
that government was doing"
