Controversial DVD About Radical Islam Included In Orlando Sentinel
Source: wftv.com

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Just weeks before the election, there are questions about a controversial insert published in The Orlando Sentinel. The insert on radical Islam included a 60-minute DVD.

Over 300,000 copies of "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against The West" went out to Orlando residents as an insert in Sunday's Sentinel. Twenty-eight million copies will go out in swing states nationwide by the end of the week.

I hope this isn't a dupe. There is also a video at the site.

1. At this time back in '06 it was ABC's "Path to 9/11"
catapulting the propaganda.

18. The 9/11 money trail leads back to
a Bush family friend and a former political ally of the Bush-Cheney administration.

Of course radical Islam exists but it is encouraged and manipulated by the war profiteers. If you want to know why then you only have to read the PNAC documents or the writings of Philip Zelikow.

2. Link to Popular Progressive article about the Clarion Fund.
Seems one of their spokespersons went on Rush Limbaugh recently and received praise from him. They are obviously violating 501c rules. That can be proven by the fact they are only distributing in swing states. That in itself denotes that it for political reasons. http://popprog.blogspot.com/2008/09/clarion-fund-puts-lipstick-on-terrorism.html

3. got it in The Cary Times (NC) this AM--my neighbors (East Africans) and I were furious
oh . . and it's the "winner, best feature film, 2005 liberty film festival" and "required viewing for everyone" (Howard Gordon, Executive Producer, 24) (presumably "everyone" who finds torture entertaining)

17. What was infuriating about the video?
Can you describe what the video represents and is there any truth in it? Or is it all made up?

5. A good response to use for friends or family that are actually
foolish enough to fall for this fear mongering is this.

Odds that a terrorist will kill you. 1 in 50 million. Odds that you will die of old age or a disease or in an accident. 100%. The one thing that can save you in the future is stem cell research. Republicans are against it. Democrats are for it. Therefore if you vote Republican you are actually voting for your own death. How stupid do you have to be to pull that one off?! Pretty damn stupid. Me I'm voting democrat. I want to live a long time!

8. Propaganda for sure
My family also got this 'must view' DVD in our sunday paper in
Columbus OH. I almost fell over when I saw it. I couldn't
believe that this blatant political ad was allowed to be
mailed in the paper. I almost kept it as a reminder of how low
some groups will go to force their message on others.

10. It fails to mention the link between the Neo-cons/Bushies and the terrorists
They support them, they fostered them, they hired Bin Laden, Bush's brother sells "Ignite!" the software used in the madras's to teach hatred.

Essentially, the neo-cons/Christianists, and the Saudi royal family/Islamisists are one in the same group of evil war-whoring cretins who have been creating and exploiting war-for-profit for generations.

I saw who wrote the top blurb - Michael Medved, noted wingnut, and immediately threw it in the garbage.
