McCain: Palin more qualified than Obama
Source: Mike Allen

Mounting a ferocious defense of his embattled running mate, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said he is buying a TV ad arguing that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has more experience than the Democratic presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.).

snip

The campaign announced: “The McCain campaign will launch a television ad directly comparing Governor Palin’s executive experience as a governor who oversees 24,000 state employees, 14 statewide cabinet agencies and a 10 billion dollar budget to Barack Obama’s experience as a one-term junior Senator from Illinois.”

Please please please, McSame, show everyone that you just don't get it and pay a heap of your own cash to do it. Please show the American people how lame you are. Thanks for making this so easy. All I can say to the McC camp is BRING IT! Please spend your money announcing your poor decision making skills.

5. Only if Alaska becomes it's own country.

The only way Sarah Palin is more qualified than Barack Obama to handle anything is if Alaska ever secedes and the President then has to deal with them as a new country.

Otherwise.... Ummm.... No.

What kind of exec experience do you have if the governor RUINED the state of which they were in charge. Palin had been governor for about 4 seconds and started firing people she didn't like. Great experience.

12. OK McCain, you want the 'experience' ball, FINE! TAKE IT!
If McCain's camp wants to claim that she has more 'executive' experience than Obama, I say fine!
Let's look at that 'experience' then!
20 million dollars of debt to a city of 8,000 people,
Trooper-gate,
hacking the computer of a rival,
Secession-gate,
not knowing what the VP does,
moving important services from Juneau to northern Anchorage/Wasilia,
tied to big oil,
raising taxes twice,
and so on.

In 20 months of running Alaska, all she's done is FUCK the state UP! So yeah, being a Christian Fascist screwup governor is experience- NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE.
Obama has less experience, but look at what he's done with it. It's not the time- it's what you've done (or not done) that matters.
Still wanna make 'experience' an issue, McCain? Because in your 56 years of military/congressional experience, you've been as big a FUCKUP as Palin has!

COUNTRY FIRST MY HAIRY ASS!

32. Well, this should be prime example #1
http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1837868,00.html

Pushing for more oil drilling and blocking environmental protection isn't exactly doing your state any favors.

She's also in favor of selling out the fishing industry to please the mining industry.

Let me know if that's enough truth for you.

24. Actually McCain's comparison is just one more reason McCain is not qualified
Most anybody could be pretty sure someone with Palin's credentials wouldn't even garner 1% in a primary or caucus. What this McCain guy is actually saying he does not believe voters are not best to decide who is best qualified

I saw some right wing mommy posting that crap on a non-political board today "Love Palin!!! - she's the only one of the 4 that actually has excutive experience." And I keep seeing that meme over and over again.

My husband works with a guy that is a low low low level volunteer for the repubs (we're talking the guy that's sweeping up confetti,) and HE gets talking points emailed to him almost every day!!!) They are sending out talking points to everyone...

Palin: Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism, with a minor in political science from the University of Idaho. Brief stint as a sports reporter for local Anchorage television stations; left to join her husband in commercial fishing.
