Drag Queens Sue Rockefeller Center

NEW YORK -- A group of drag queens is suing Rockefeller Center and owner Tishman Speyer, accusing plaza authorities of discriminating against them because of their outfits, according to The Daily News.

One of the drag queens, whose show name is Indiana Jones, told the Daily News that the members of the Miss Chiva Colombia team were told they were not allowed to take pictures in the plaza, while plenty of other people were taking pictures.
The group filed discrimination complaints with the state Division of Human Rights.

"They wouldn't give us a reason for why we couldn't be there, but we're pretty sure it's because of how we were dressed," Jones told The Daily News.
