The campaign for the November 4 election has taken a negative turn this week after the McCain camp issued a television advertisement on Wednesday that called Obama a celebrity akin to star-crossed U.S. celebrities Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.

In response, Obama said McCain was trying to scare voters away from him.

"So what they're saying is, 'Well, we know we're not very good but you can't risk electing Obama. You know, he's new, he doesn't look like the other presidents on the currency. He's got a funny name.' I mean, that's basically the argument -- he's too risky," Obama said in Missouri.

I'm already get racist emails from conservatives that haven't sent me race related stuff in years. Limbaugh jokes about him being 'halfrican'. Virtually every conservative harpy emphasizes his middle eastern sounding middle name, and they have no problem accusing him of being Muslim. But it's Obama who is playing the race card when he says they are trying to scare voters away from him?

6. The McCain camp is beginning to piss me off
All they are doing is attacking Obama.

Where's the beef? There's no substance to his campaign at all.

I find myself becoming more & more amused at the shear desperation and jealousy. I do fear the voting machines though.

7. They're desperate to "define" Obama before the convention

This is the kitchen sink strategy cubed. Every day, a new ridiculous assertion from the McCain camp. I don't think there's been anything quite like it in modern politics.

11. Is the media misquoting Obama?
"You know, he's new, he doesn't look like the other presidents on the currency"

The quote I just heard on TV he said:

"You know, he's new, he doesn't look like the other presidents on the dollar bill."
