Sen. Chuck Hagel's book to hit shelves March 25

Nebraska's senior U.S. senator is soon coming to a bookstore near you.

Chuck Hagel's book, titled "America: Our Next Chapter," is due to hit bookstore shelves March 25.

The book is 15 chapters and covers such subjects as politics, leadership, Iraq, Iran, America's competitive position in the world, so-called entitlement programs and foreign policy.

The Nebraska Republican says the book is "not Pollyanna-ish. I acknowledge ... that we're in very serious trouble in this country."

3. Nah, I disagree with many of Chuck's conservative policies, but

he's an honest dealer and a patriot, and he was worthy of his (fairly-won) Senate seat. I hate to see him go, which is the highest compliment I can pay a Republican.
